The University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) announced a partnership with Athletic Solutions on Monday, October 7th. The UTPB Falcons site will offer fans a new shopping experience. This one-stop-shop will offer sport-specific product for every sport at UTPB and NIL product for participating student-athletes.
“We are excited to partner with Athletic Solutions to provide our student-athletes with an incredible opportunity to expand their personal brands and connect with our fanbase in new ways,” said Scott Larson, Vice President for Athletics at UTPB. “This platform not only enhances the experience for our student-athletes by allowing them to monetize their name, image, and likeness, but it also strengthens the bond between our student-athletes and supporters. It’s a win-win.”
Powered by Athletic Solutions, the UTPB NIL store, gives student-athletes the opportunity to open and promote their own personalized online store. Fans will be able to browse and purchase these items and directly support their favorite Falcon student-athletes. With every purchase, UTPB Falcon athletes receive direct payments from the sale of their merchandise.
The UTPB NIL stores will offer more than 150 different styles including headwear, tees, fleece, and accessories from various brands in the collegiate space, all with the specific student-athletes name, image and likeness represented. The offerings of colors, styles and graphics are almost unlimited.
